We’re going to be playing this weekend at Gwdihw in Cardiff for the Troyfest Easter Sunday. 

Expect homemade burger BBQ / Festival atmosphere / Bands / Dj’s / Outdoor marquee and stage / Burlesque! The party will be starting from 3pm till 3am £5 adv £6 at the door

On Thursday night Clwb Ifor Bach and CYNT teamed up with the European Recyclying Platform to host a Free Party, which included a DJ set from The 2 Bears. Earlier in the night we watched a great band called The Invisible. Even though the 3 piece band had been nominated for a Mercury Music Prize in 2009, the Indie electro-pop group had strangely gone under our radar until now.

With their second album lined up for 2012 we’re looking forward to hearing what they will come out with.

Let’s hope that the release of ‘Wheels’ as part of Lex 10th anniversary compilation album was the start of many tracks that we’ll hear from producer Boom Bip and Gruff Rhys in the near future.

Stainless Style has been back in constant rotation with the band recently, with ‘Raquel’ being our stand out track from the 2008 mercury nominated album.

It will be interesting to see where they will go with a second album as the first albums subject was so specific to Jon DeLorean’s life story. Either way we look forward to hearing more from them.
